After 44 weeks of rigorous training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, three newly commissioned Second Lieutenants have joined The Royal Gurkha Rifles. Their journey culminated in the prestigious Sovereign’s Parade on 11 April 2025.

A special congratulations to 2nd Lieutenant Max Cousins, who was awarded The King’s Medal for Commissioning Course 242. The award was presented during the parade by Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Edinburgh.
We wish them the very best wishes as they embark on their British Army careers.
