249 Gurkha Signal Squadron excelled on Exercise KIWI TROPHY, winning both the fastest individual and team titles.

This competition, held by the 3 (UK) Div Sig Regt, involves a 10-mile march and shoot for individuals and a 14-mile march and shoot for teams of eight, which must include an officer and an Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. The squadron’s team completed the 14-mile march in 2hrs and 41mins, while Signalman Bishal achieved the fastest individual time of 1hr and 41mins.
