The Second Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR) secured a gold medal on Exercise CAMBRIAN PATROL (Ex CP) 2024. Ex CP is a challenging 48-hour event that tests the physical and mental endurance of participants as they navigate through the rugged Welsh countryside and complete a series of military tasks. It is an opportunity to showcase teamwork, leadership skills, and determination in a highly demanding environment.
This year, team 2 RGR was managed by Sergeant Resham Magar, led by Sergeant Birhang Wanem Limbu and Corporal Gajal Rai. The team members were:

- Rifleman Jalan Khawas
- Rifleman Deeplov Gurung
- Rifleman Sangam Thapa
