On a warm and sunny evening on the 26th of June 2024, members of the Brigade of Gurkhas and invited guests gathered on Old College Square, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for the annual Brigade of Gurkhas Sounding Retreat.
Prior to the retreat guests gathered for drinks and to catch up with old friends and for each of the cap badges of the Brigade to take their own formal photos on Old College steps.
The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas, and Bagpipers from across the Brigade then performed a marching band display and sounded retreat, with sunset and the National Anthems. Taking the salute was the principal guest for the evening Lieutenant General M R Elviss CB MBE (Commander Field Army), along with the General Richard Wardlaw CB OBE (Brigade of Gurkhas Colonel Commandant).
