Gurkha success at the British Taekwondo Nationals Finals 2024

This year, the British Taekwondo National Finals were held as part of the National Martial Arts Championship at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield on the 5th and 6th of October 2024. Corporal (Cpl) Madhu Ghimire, currently serving at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, represented the UK Armed Forces in the 68kg senior veterans category. Cpl Ghimire demonstrated outstanding skills and sportsmanship, setting himself apart from his competitors.

Cpl Ghimire achieved an impressive second place, earning a silver medal. This notable achievement not only underscores his commitment and effort but also showcases the strength and talent within the UK Armed Forces martial arts community.
