Kathmandu to Kent – Charity Run by British Gurkhas Nepal
A team of eight personnel including family members from British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN), are currently taking part in a gruelling challenge. They are on a quest to run 4,506 miles the distance from Kathmandu to Kent in aid of two charities that are close to BGN’s hearts.
- SSAFA – The Armed Forces charity supports serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need.
- Sahja Sahaytri Nepal – Supports survivors of sexual violence, particularly girls, by offering safe, nurturing shelters and educational opportunities.
The team have set up a crowd-funding page on GoFundMe and all contributions are most welcome.
